Wentworth-Douglass Hospital to Host Women’s Heart Health Seminar in Dover on February 11

DOVER, N.H. – In recognition and celebration of Women’s Heart Health Month, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, a member of the Mass General Brigham healthcare system, will host ‘Heartfelt Partnerships,’ a free women’s heart health seminar on Tuesday, February 11 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Garrison Auditoriums at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. Heart disease is a factor in roughly one out of every five female deaths and every year, heart disease kills more women in the United States than any other health condition according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Presented by women’s heart health experts, Dr. Whitney Coppolino of Wentworth Health Partners Cardiology at Pease and Dr. Anna O’Kelly of the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Corrigan Women’s Heart Health Program, attendees will hear real patient stories and receive information about heart health. Drs. Coppolino and O’Kelly will explain the importance of clinical collaboration, which combines local expertise with world-class Mass General Brigham specialists to improve outcomes and empower women in every stage of their heart health journey.

A heart-healthy meal will be served during the lecture. To register for ‘Heartfelt Partnerships,’ visit our Eventbrite. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.
