Wentworth-Douglass Hospital remains supportive of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) recommendation that everyone should wear proper face coverings in all public settings.
The CDC’s guideline for mask wearing, along with measures like social distancing, frequent handwashing, and avoiding crowds, have been scientifically proven effective at preventing transmission of COVID-19.
At this time, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is experiencing a noticeable increase in COVID-19 positive patients seeking care in the hospital. We encourage everyone to wear a mask and adhere to all guidelines that help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Our current COVID-19 protocols, including universal mask wearing, will remain in effect at all Wentworth-Douglass locations, for the safety of our patients, staff, and the community at-large.
