To mark National Melanoma/Skin Cancer Awareness and Prevention Month in May, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Dermatology & Skin Health will be providing free skin cancer screenings on Monday, May 9 and Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Seacoast Cancer Center.
Each screening takes about five minutes, but it is five minutes that could save a life.
Most melanoma cases are caused by sun exposure, so everyone, even the most diligent sunscreen users, should add regular skin checks to their skincare routine. Any new or changing spots should be evaluated by your doctor.
Appointments for these free skin cancer screenings are required, and time slots do fill up. Please call (603) 740-2818 to schedule your appointment.
