Wentworth-Douglass Wins Fifth Straight “Best Hospital” Record 15 Honors at Best of the Seacoast

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital was named “Best Hospital” for the fifth consecutive year, and won a record 15 awards, at the Best of the Seacoast awards gala on November 8. 

Wentworth-Douglass’ 15 awards, which were spread among a broad range of services and specialties, were more than any other organization. The hospital’s 21 nominations were also a new record.

The winners were announced November 8 at the Blue Ocean Event Center in Salisbury, Mass. The awards are conducted as part of the USA Today Network’s Community Choice Awards program.

Wentworth-Douglass’ wins included the following:

• Best Nurse/Nurse Practitioner – Hope Sheedy, RN, BSN
• Best Place to Work
• Best Urgent Care/Walk-In Clinic – Wentworth-Douglas Express Care
• Best Physical Therapy Clinic – Wentworth-Douglass Rehabilitation Services
• Best Fitness Center/Gym – The Works Health & Fitness Center
