COVID-19 Vaccine | Patient Information

We wanted to clear up some confusion regarding COVID-19 vaccinations at our hospital. The CDC’s Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS) website is mistakenly allowing eligible New Hampshire residents to schedule their vaccination appointments at WDH.

There is NO public COVID-19 vaccination clinic currently at Wentworth-DouglassPlease DO NOT schedule your vaccine appointment at Wentworth-Douglass.

Unfortunately, this is not a system that is controlled by the hospital.  We have been working diligently with government officials to rectify this error. We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience this may have caused.

The state of New Hampshire is extending COVID-19 vaccines to New Hampshire residents in phases 1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B.

Phase 2B includes New Hampshire residents age 50 and older.

Phase 2A includes New Hampshire K-12 teachers, school staff, and child care workers.

Phase 1B includes:

New Hampshire residents age 65 and older

  • Visit vaccines.nh.gov or call 2-1-1 to schedule a vaccine appointment at a state clinic.

  • You must contact the state directly if you wish to register.

  • You do not need to call you provider’s office to request a medical attestation.

  • Wentworth-Douglass Hospital (WDH)/Wentworth Health Partners (WHP) will provide the state a list of all its existing patients who qualify for a vaccination based on your medical record.

  • If you have an email address on file with your provider’s office, the state will reach out to you via email with details about how to schedule a vaccine at a state vaccine clinic. The invitation will come to your email from no-reply@mail.vams.cdc.gov. Please monitor your spam/junk folders as well.

  • If you do not have an email address on file, WDH/WHP will call or send a text message to all existing patients who meet the criteria with instructions. Please allow 5-7 business days to receive this call/text as we work through this volume. Your patience is appreciated!
  • High-Risk qualifying conditions include Cancer, Chronic Kidney Disease, COPD/or other Pulmonary Diseases, Down Syndrome, Heart Conditions, immunocompromised, obesity, pregnancy, sickle cell, Type 2 Diabetes.
