Katherine A Staniforth, APRN

About Katie: 

Katherine “Katie” Staniforth grew up in northern Vermont and graduated from The University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and concentration in Environmental Health. Her studies inspired her to pursue a nursing degree. She moved to New York City where she completed an accelerated BSN program. She worked in high-risk antepartum, postpartum and labor and delivery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital while completing her Master’s education. 
 
She received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree with a sub-specialty in Women’s Health and remained in New York City to work in Neurointerventional Radiology at Mount Sinai Hospital.
 
After eight years in the city, Katie moved to Denver, Colorado looking for sunshine and powder. She worked in a primary care practice serving a high-risk patient population. Unable to stay away from the Northeast, she moved back to New England and joined Dover Women’s Health at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. She is excited to be part of the team caring for women across the lifespan.
 
Katie currently lives in Dover with her lab, Winnie. In her free time, she likes to stay active playing tennis, biking, skiing and walking Winnie on the beach. She enjoys baking, chai lattes, traveling and trying new restaurants.
