The Seacoast Cancer Center name will soon change to the Mass General Cancer Center. This renaming is a testament to the exceptional cancer care our physicians, leaders, and staff have provided patients and families for over 40 years.
Our high quality of care, compassion, and convenience does not change. Wentworth-Douglass has developed the cancer program as a community cancer center with a regional reputation for high quality, personalized care. As part of Mass General Brigham, Wentworth-Douglass already offered added expertise and connections for specialized care; we are proud of the care we provide and will integrate more fully with Mass General Cancer Center when it comes to specialized cancer care to become the hub for cancer care on the Seacoast.
The Mass General Cancer Center name will strengthen many of the programs we already offer in our community, as well as open mutual opportunities for our programs and patients who live along the broader Seacoast area. This rename emphasizes that our community will continue to have access to a growing network of world-class services and the resources of Mass General Cancer Center.
