Wentworth-Douglass Foundation chosen as Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program Partner

The Wentworth-Douglass Foundation is thankful to have been chosen as Hannaford’s nonprofit partner for the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program for the month of January. For each $2.50 reusable Community Bag purchased in January at the Hannaford located at 833 Central Avenue in Dover, $1 was donated to the Wentworth-Douglass Foundation. Thanks to our community, 68 Community Bags were sold to benefit Wentworth-Douglass Hospital! 

If you missed your opportunity to purchase a bag in January, it’s not too late! Community Bags are available at your local Hannaford store and each one comes with an attached Giving Tag. The Giving Tag provides the opportunity for shoppers at any Hannaford location to designate $1 from their bag purchase to a non-profit of their choice at any time. Simply follow the instructions on the Giving Tag within seven days of your purchase and chose Wentworth-Douglass Hospital as your non-profit choice!
