Yes, aging can and does bring new opportunities and increased leisure time, but it can also bring challenges. Often as we age it becomes necessary to change where we live, who we live with, retire from outside work and/or accept help with managing our tasks at home. Our ability to engage socially can be challenged by transportation issues, the aging of our friends and the growing independence of our children. Often we experience changes in our ability to enjoy activities that were once an important part of our lives.
