Hyperhidrosis, or Excessive Sweating, occurs when the body creates more perspiration than needed to cool itself. Sometimes this condition is so severe it can impact a person’s daily life.

There are many treatment options available for managing excessing sweating, including medications. Surgery may be an option for patients with severe hyperhidrosis affecting mainly the palms, who have failed nonsurgical treatments.
