Cancer doesn’t stop… and neither did we! This year’s virtual Seacoast Cancer “Anytime 5K” took place over two weeks, September 19th through October 4th, with over 1,125 participants! The event has raised $260,584 thanks to generous donors like you!
“We are so grateful and impressed with our community and race participants who have rallied to support local cancer care despite the pivot to a virtual event. The Seacoast Cancer Center staff never stopped provided lifesaving care to patients during the pandemic and the patients and staff at the Cancer Center need our support now more than ever. We are truly amazed at the level of engagement we received from the local business community, runners, and walkers. We are so appreciative to everyone in our community who supported Wentworth-Douglass in the Seacoast Cancer 5K and throughout the pandemic,” said Interim CEO and COO, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, Jeffrey Hughes, MPH, FACHE.
