Forty-five percent of normal adults snore at least occasionally and 25 percent are habitual snorers. Medically, snoring disturbs sleep patterns and deprives you of adequate rest. Obstructive sleep apnea also may lead to serious, long-term health problems.
Snoring and sleep apnea respond to a variety of treatment options. Some options we may discuss include CPAP masks, somnoplasty, injection snoreplasty, and uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) surgery, among others.
Inflammations of the sinuses, both acute and chronic, can be difficult to diagnose. Our physicians and staff have extensive experience in treating both medical and surgical sinus issues to help you find relief.
If allergy symptoms are not well controlled with over the counter medications, our physicians can perform a thorough exam to evaluate the sinuses to determine if infection or structural problems (deviated septum, polyps) are causing the symptoms. He or she can also offer advice on proper environmental controls to decrease exposure to allergens.
Our office has a sophisticated audiologic/vestibular and hearing aid service located onsite for seamless diagnosis and treatment of hearing issues. Our staff can help determine the specific cause of the hearing loss, advise on treatment options, and help your achieve the best possible hearing outcome.
