Wentworth-Douglass Foundation Appoints New Board Leadership and Members

The Wentworth-Douglass Foundation is pleased to announce that local community leader, Jackie Eastwood, co-founder and former President and CEO of TissueLink Medical Inc., of Dover, has been named Chairman of the Wentworth-Douglass Foundation’s Board of Directors. Eastwood formerly served as Vice Chairman.

During her time at TissueLink, Eastwood conducted business with hospitals nationwide and remains impressed with Wentworth-Douglass and the affiliation with Massachusetts General Hospital. Eastwood is preceded by Jay Levy, CFP®, Senior Vice President, of Measured Wealth Private Client Group, in Portsmouth, who now serves on the Wentworth-Douglass Foundation as Immediate Past Chairman. Richard Conley, CEO of ALPCO Diagnostics, has been appointed Vice Chairman. Peter Walcek, Chief Financial Officer at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, now serves as Treasurer. Attorney Tom Torr of Cocheco Elder Law Associates will continue to serve as Secretary.

Eastwood says, “I am honored to serve as Chairman of the Wentworth-Douglass Foundation. This is an exciting time for healthcare on the Seacoast and Wentworth-Douglass is at the forefront of advancements that will improve the overall health of the Seacoast individuals and families they have served for more than 110 years.”

In addition to the leadership changes, these community leaders have joined the Foundation’s Board of Directors:

  • Mike Carella, Principal & Director of Client Strategy at Saltwater Collective, a marketing and advertising agency in Portsmouth;
  • Chad Kageleiry, Managing Partner at Summit Land Development, a property management and development company in Dover;
  • Carla Meyers, Esq., an esteemed legal consultant in the greater Dover area;
  • Geoffrey Ness, President & CEO of Nessit, an information technology company in Somersworth; and
  • Michael Steinberg, owner and CEO of Relyco, a specialty paper and payment solutions company in Dover.
