Treating Pain in Muscles, Tendons and Ligaments
The Graston Technique
If you’re suffering from painful, debilitating soft tissue injuries, the Graston Technique (GT) is an innovative approach to successfully treating acute conditions like muscle and tendon strains, ligament sprains and contusions and more chronic conditions like myofascial trigger points.

Here’s how it works
Our expertly trained and certified clinicians use specially designed stainless steel instruments to detect and treat areas of soft tissue restriction causing pain or chronic inflammation in muscles, tendons and ligaments.
As your therapist moves the instrument over the affected soft tissue area, coming into contact with the adhesions potentially causing the pain, the instrument helps break up scar tissue and fascial restrictions.
As a next step, stretching and strengthening exercises help you regain normal tissue function.
We have discovered that consistent use of the Graston Technique allows us to reduce - and even eliminate - your adhered fibers, restoring your range of motion and reducing your associated pain. It can reduce overall treatment time, minimize the need for anti-inflammatory medication and improve chronic conditions often considered permanent.
