Triggering the Body’s Self-Healing
Functional Dry Needling
Sometimes actually inducing tiny lesions can help our bodies heal. With functional dry needling, tiny monofilament needles are gently inserted into your tender or painful soft tissue to create minor tissue irritation to increase circulation and help your muscles relax.
Before using the technique, we evaluate your overall health and body’s healing potential.
The functional dry needling technique is best to :
- Accelerate tissue healing
- Relieve pain and tissue tension
- Activate and control immune and anti-inflammatory mechanisms
- Release physical stress
- Decrease pain levels for those with acute orthopedic pain
