Orthopedic Surgery

Our board-certified surgeons specialize in advanced hand, shoulder, knee, spine, ankle and foot surgical care. We specialize in joint replacements, surgery to repair and reconstruct tendons, and surgery to treat fractures or dislocations, arthritis, degenerative conditions of the neck and spine, and more. We provide advanced arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgical options. Our surgical specialties include:

Cartilage Repair and Restoration

Cartilage injuries and the breakdown of cartilage over time are some of the most common orthopedic issues affecting the knee. Our Cartilage Restoration Center includes certified specialists offering a full range of state-of-the-art treatment options for knee cartilage injuries—including minimally invasive and arthroscopic procedures, osteochondral autografts, autologous cartilage cell implantation and others. In some cases, not only will these procedures resolve pain and restore function, they may also delay the progression of arthritis.

One of the newest advances in cartilage restoration we offer is Matrix Associated Chondrocyte Implantation (MACI), which uses the patient’s own cartilage cells to create a MACI scaffold that is glued into the cartilage defect. This technique creates smaller incisions that significantly reduce operating time and makes for an easier recovery.

Sports Medicine & Women’s Sports Medicine

Whether it’s in the Exam Room, the Operating Room, or on the sidelines, our specialized sports medicine providers are dedicated to getting you back in the game. Whether you are a school-age athlete or mature weekend warrior, our experienced providers—who are athletes themselves—understand the unique complexities of sports injuries. Our new Women’s Sports Medicine program also makes sure we’re able to meet the unique musculoskeletal needs of women and girls of all ages and athletic abilities.
