Gynecologic Oncology 

We provide state-of-the-art treatment for gynecologic oncology conditions, with direct access to additional resources at Massachusetts General Hospital. Our integration with Massachusetts General Hospital brings top gynecologic oncologists to patients at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. 

Our team provides comprehensive care to women diagnosed with cancers of the uterus, ovaries, cervix, vagina and vulva. We also provide expert specialty care for gestational trophoblastic disease, difficult-to-treat dysplasia, pelvic masses when a malignancy is suspected and other complicated conditions.

Multidisciplinary approach, personalized care

Our multidisciplinary team means that we are able to offer every patient a personalized approach to treatment, with special attention to addressing individual needs and concerns quickly and completely.

Our Nurse Navigator serves as a guide from evaluation to treatment and follow-up care.

Advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgical procedures

• Traditional laparoscopic hysterectomy and staging procedures
• Radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer
• Debulking procedures for advanced ovarian cancer
• Sentinel lymph node biopsies
• Cone biopsy and LEEP
• Laser or CUSA procedures for dysplasia
