Wentworth-Douglass Hospital’s expansion in Portsmouth is well underway with the first of two additional buildings opening this spring. The new Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Outpatient Center in Portsmouth will ultimately encompass a host of comprehensive services in three buildings offering the Seacoast community access to top quality healthcare.
This Spring, the first of the two new buildings will open. The first floor will be the Seacoast Cancer Center's Portsmouth campus. This location will offer all the services patients can find in Dover.
The second floor will be home to Wentworth Health Partners specialty care in Portsmouth, including new general surgery, plastic surgery, and neurology practices and providers.
“We are thrilled to be opening our practice at the new Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Outpatient Center,” say Dr. Cynthia Paciulli and Dr. Molly Buzdon, both of Wentworth Health Partners General Surgery – Portsmouth. “We are excited about the high-caliber care we can offer our Seacoast patients with all the resources of Wentworth-Douglass and Massachusetts General Hospital behind us.”
Among other services, a comprehensive women’s health center is planned for phase two of the Portsmouth expansion. This building is expected to open in 2020 and will also include a full diagnostic imaging suite with MRI and CT and orthopedics.
Wentworth-Douglass’s Portsmouth campus already offers walk-in Prompt Care, Primary Care at Pease, specialty care clinics, laboratory and X-ray services. These services opened in late 2016.
