Wentworth-Douglass Wins 6th Straight “Best Hospital," 10 Honors at Best of the Seacoast

DOVER, N.H. – Wentworth-Douglass Hospital was named “Best Hospital” for the sixth consecutive year, and won 10 total awards, at the Best of the Seacoast awards gala Tuesday.

Wentworth-Douglass was the only hospital honored and its awards were spread among a broad range of services and specialties.

The winners were announced November 7 at the Blue Ocean Event Center in Salisbury, MA. The awards are conducted as part of the USA Today Network’s Community Choice Awards program.

Wentworth-Douglass’ wins included the following:

• Best Acupuncture Clinic
• Best Alternative Medicine
• Best Cancer Center
• Best Cardiology Clinic/Hospital
• Best Hospital/Medical Center
• Best Hospital Emergency Room
• Best Maternity & Childbirth Center
• Best Place to Work
• Best Urgent Care
• Best After School/Summer Camp Program – The Works Health & Fitness Center

More than 170,000 votes were cast by residents of the Seacoast.
