Nancy Blatt, DO, a board-certified family medicine physician, has joined Wentworth-Douglass Hospital’s newest women’s health practice, the Center for Women’s Health & Wellness, located at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Portsmouth Outpatient Center – Building A, 67 Corporate Drive. Dr. Blatt will provide primary medical care for Seacoast women and girls ages 12 and older in a unique practice setting completely devoted to women’s health and wellness.
Dr. Blatt has more than 15 years of clinical practice experience including acute and chronic care. Dr. Blatt received her undergraduate degree at San Diego State University and her medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a family medicine residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Dr. Blatt previously cared for patients at Madison Family Medicine Associates in Ohio and Barrington Family Practice here on the Seacoast. She has additional training and interest in integrative medicine, lifestyle medicine, obesity medicine, and mind-body medicine. She will follow an individualized, whole health approach to patient care, and says, “I hope to provide patients with the knowledge and motivation to take an active role in their health and well-being.”
Dr. Blatt lives locally on the Seacoast and is married with three children. She enjoys reading, physical activity, and spending time with her family. Her children keep her busy with extracurricular activities like horseback riding and hockey.
The Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Center for Women’s Health & Wellness includes comprehensive services women need to stay healthy. The Center’s integrated team includes primary care and OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and women-focused specialists, including cardiology and sports medicine (coming in June), along with nurse navigators to help women manage their care.
