Patricia A. Auty, MD,FACS

Dr. Patricia A. Auty is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. She is the most senior robotic surgeon at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and has performed nearly 2,000 robotics procedures. Because of her advanced skills, she has been selected as an epicenter surgeon by Intuitive Surgical and proctors other surgeons and observers in training them on the system.

Dr. Auty joined Seacoast General Surgery in 2007. Dr. Auty received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, where she received the Aesculapian Award two years in a row. Her postdoctoral resident general surgery training was completed at the University of Kansas Medical Center. 

In addition, Dr. Auty earned a Masters of Biomedical Sciences from Barry University and a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College. She is a member of the American Medical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Auty is an avid animal lover and enjoys playing with her German Shepherd. She also enjoys running, biking, travel, theater and photography.
