Fine-tune Your Running Mechanics

Take Run Fit out for a spin. Our certified physical therapists will do a biomechanical and video analysis of your running style, before transitioning you to a Run Fit training program tailored specifically for you.

It could make all the difference. Research indicates that 75 percent of runners will be sidelined by injury at some point in their running careers. These injuries often result from improper running mechanics or deficiencies in your muscle and joint function.

Avoid becoming a statistic. Join our Run Fit Team to help maximize your running potential and minimize your risk of injury.

Start with a Biomechanical Video Analysis

Before you begin training, one of our certified PTs, specializing in evaluating functional movement and running biomechanics, will do a video analysis of your running form. You’ll be filmed from multiple angles while on the treadmill. Advanced digital imaging allows us to capture your movement frame by frame, so we can view every miniscule change as you run.

This allows our Run Fit team to:

  • Identify muscular imbalances, mechanical defects, movement patterns and strength deficits that should be corrected.
  • Tailor therapy treatments, while helping you learn new running-specific exercises and techniques.
  • Film you again after a specific period of time, so you can see how much you’ve improved.

Run Fit Prevention (RFP)

If you haven’t had a running injury, our RFP program helps you prevent future problems. In addition to a biomechanical video analysis, our specialists will perform a customized functional movement evaluation.
Sign on for a tailor-made corrective strength and conditioning program to maximize your performance and minimize your risk of injury.

Run Fit Recovery (RFR)

For new runners, as well as elite athletes training for marathons, pain can be a problem. If you experience pain while running or have been injured, RFR integrates expert physical therapy with video analysis to accelerate your return to pain-free running. When you’re ready you’ll then transition to our RFP program. RFR physical therapy services are covered by most insurance plans.
