NHDOT Physicals available at Prompt Care at Pease
Wentworth Health Partners Prompt Care at Pease is pleased to offer NH Department of Transportation (NHDOT) Physicals. A NHDOT physical is necessary to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
In order to pass a NHDOT physical, one’s vision in both (and each eye individually) needs to be 20/40 with visual improvement devices (glasses or contacts). In addition, one must be capable of distinguishing colors found on traffic signals and able to hear a “forced whisper” at a distance of at least 5 feet.
In terms of physical health, your blood pressure should be under 140/90 (use of prescription medication permitted), and if currently diagnosed with a cardiovascular disease then it is required to provide the Medical Examiner with a stress test along with a note from a primary care provider or cardiologist stating that you are able to drive a commercial motor vehicle without restrictions. If your urine test shows that you have glucose in your urine, additional blood work will need to be completed.
The fee for a NH Department of Transportation Physical at Wentworth Health Partners Prompt Care at Pease is $125.00. To schedule a NH Department of Transportation Physical Exam with one of our providers, call (603) 610-8051 or visit https://www.wdhospital.org/whp/prompt-care for more information.
