Wentworth-Douglass Hospital has once again been recognized for its outstanding commitment to patient care and the Seacoast region, winning 4 awards at the 2021 Best of the Seacoast Awards, including ‘Best Hospital’.
Wentworth-Douglass had more finalists in more categories than any other organization in the region, and walked away with four total awards. In addition to ‘Best Hospital’, Wentworth-Douglass was also voted ‘Best Emergency Room’, ‘Best Place to Have a Baby’, and Wentworth-Douglass Express Care was voted ‘Best Urgent Care Facility’. Winners were announced on November 9 in a virtual ceremony.
The event, hosted by Seacoast Media, is a chance for the region to recognize the best services, and facilities the region has to offer.
Jeff Hughes, President and CEO of Wentworth-Douglass, says the awards signify the difference the hospital staff makes every day for its patients and the community.

Wentworth-Douglass has been highly ranked and awarded throughout 2021, earning high marks across the organization’s services and specialties, with recognition from Leapfrog, Healthgrades, Newsweek, Lown Institute, and the Center for Medicaid Services.
